MISSION

The mission of the Department of Transport is the education, research and development of transportation science and its borderland

The main priority of the Department of Transport is partnership, which, in addition to students, relates to all aspects of professional relations.

As for education, motivating and guiding students, improving their skills and abilities are to be realised mainly through self-supporting effort from students. Requirements are based on reality, transparency and fairness, consistently complying with professional standards. Our educational materials are being continuously improved and are differentiated according to educational levels. Bearing the diverse interests of students in mind the main principles regarding the development of educational materials are up-to-dateness, easy-to-use nature and the optimal proportion of knowledge of different character.

With regard to our scientific and professional activities our goal is to broaden and disseminate transportation-related knowledge on a national level and to establish and maintain international relations.
